Caribbean Sound offers several symphony programming productions all with one goal in mind-to share a variety of wonderful music with audiences young and old. They are one of the elite groups in the world to successfully combine the beautiful sound of steel drums and Caribbean music into the orchestral setting bringing these enchanting sounds to the symphonic venue. All orchestrations are provided by Caribbean Sound scored for 1 PIC 2FL 2OB 2CL 1 BCL 2BSN 3TP 3TB 1 TB 4HRN T+3 8/8/6/5/4. Additonal strings can be added if desired. |

| The extraordinary and marvelous Pops show "An Evening with Caribbean Sound" highlights the talents and virtuosity of this fantastic ensemble hosts an amazing array of music performed on steel pans. Jazz, Classical, Patriotic and original compositions are skillfully blended with the beautiful sound of steel drums and the mystical warm atmosphere of the Caribbean into the orchestral setting. Caribbean Sound brings a fun-filled evening of music and entertainment along with palm trees, the up-beat antics of the ensemble members, and maybe a blender or two for an unforgettable evening of World entertainment. "An American Carnival" |

The highly acclaimed Family show "An American Carnival" captivates the audience with the marvelous history and development of the steel pan as told by ensemble member Mike Wilson. This show features the dazzling costumes and instruments of an African Ensemble, a Marching Band, Bottle & Spoon Bands, Tamboo Bamboo bands (Tamboo Bamboo are instruments made of large pieces of bamboo struck on the floor), a Metal Band (you've got to see what they do with a 55 gallon barrel), and Pan Around the Neck. Oh, but this is not the entire show. "An American Carnival" hosts an amazing array of music performed on steel pans including hits like "Under The Sea" and "Kiss the Girl from "The Little Mermaid" and original compositions. "An American Carnival" will fill the concert venue with the enchanting and magical sounds of this magnificent instrument and have the kids dancing in the isles. Last Train Home is a Pat Metheny tune featuring our bass player Sean Tarleton and orchestrated for strings. Santa Maria is a Latin-based tune from the CD Evolution. |
